Kybella® is a naturally-occurring molecule technically known as Deoxycholic Acid. When injected into the fat beneath the skin, it destroys fat cells so that they cannot store or accumulate fat. Dr. Sypien, MD will consult with you to determine how many treatments are necessary to reach the desired effect based on your particular condition.
It is important to inform Dr. Sypien, MD if you have had or plan to have surgery on your face, neck or chin or if a medical condition currently exists in these areas. You must let Dr. Sypien, MD know if you have a history of bleeding problems, if you are currently pregnant, breast feeding or plan to become pregnant. Common side effects include swelling, bruising, pain, numbness or redness.
