Microblading is a technique where fine lines are scratched into the surface of the skin, and pigment embedded. The strokes accurately replicate hair (as in a brow or hairline).  

Microblading consists of two appointments: the initial one (2 hours) and a touch-up (1 hour). During the consultation, we choose a pigment color that suits your skin and hair, then we draw the desired shape, and implant the pigment under the first layer of your skin with a sterilized, thin applicator. The healing process takes about 4-6 weeks, after which we schedule a touch-up session to perfect the eyebrows. You may schedule a consultation prior to your Microblading appointment to make sure that there are no contraindications makeup and to receive an allergy patch test.

Results can last from 12 to up to 24 months, depending on a variety of factors such as the color of pigment, skin type, and lifestyle. The microbladed brows will soften and naturally fade away with time. For areas such as brows, this allows future flexibility with shape, as standards of beauty change.

There is no social downtime, however, the brow will take about four to six weeks to fully heal.  The brow will soften in color by up to 40-50%. During this period, after-care procedures should be carefully followed.

Shading may be added to your Microblading service in order to create a more natural, ombre look. It involves the use of a special shading applicator and implanting more pigment by the arch and tail of the brow.
